Traditional recipes

Cut the butter into small pieces and let soften for a while at room temperature. In a bowl put the flour, baking powder and sugar, add the butter and work with your fingertips until the mixture is crumbled.
Add the eggs, mix a bit with a fork and then work on a floured surface, with your hands until dough is smooth and homogeneous, then forming a ball, cover with plastic wrap and put it to rest in refrigerator for half an hour. In the meantime, butter and flour a tart mold, turn the oven to 180 ° C. Take the pastry out of the refrigerator and roll out with a rolling pin, line the pan and trim the excess dough.
Spread the jam and with the remaining pastry form the decorations. Bake for about 30 minutes, the cake will have to take on a golden colour.
